THE BECOMING OF SOCIAL BECOMING

I shall postulat that the mode of social becoming evolves in accordance with the kind of relationship linking society with its environment ( nature and consciousness )

(...) The history of human civilization and technology is nothing but the gradual subjugation of natural resources to human needs and a growing protection of human society against natural threats.

(...) The growth of human knowledge means, among other things, the evolving self-consciousness of social phenomena, regularities, mechanisms of social functioning and change, and the debunking of myths, illusions, "false consciousness"
